Bivouac Camp in South Tyrol

On the Villanderer and Latzfonser Alm

Experience pure nature and spend the night in the bivouac camp on the Villanderer and Latzfonser Alm! Enjoy the unspoilt nature in the morning with a unique 360° panoramic view! A sunset snowshoe hike followed by a summit experience and other themed snowshoe hikes are the special highlights alongside the breathtaking mountain and winter landscape. The camp is supervised around the clock by trained ski and mountain guides, with catering provided in the nearby Stöffl hut, which also serves as a retreat. The package can be booked from one overnight stay and per person.

Maximum number of participants: 15 people

Program:

  • 10.00 am: Joint meeting point at the Gasser hut car park
  • 1st tour: Guided snowshoe hike from the Gasser hut to the bivouac camp/Stöffl hut
  • 12.30 pm Welcome drink, explanation and didactics (safety, material science, material test), snack together (in the Stöffl hut or outdoors)
  • 3.00 pm 2nd tour: Sunset hike - guided snowshoe hike to Guflreiteck (2,160 m) or Gampberg (2,148 m)
  • 7.00pm: Dinner together in the Stöffl hut (drinks separately), overnight stay in the bivouac camp in 2-person tents or, depending on the snow conditions, in igloos (or hut) - "Overnight stay diploma"
  • 8.30 am Uhr breakfast and then snowshoe hike to the Gasser hut

> 24-hour supervision by the team
