Itinerary
Day 1 | From Zans via Roa Scharte to Regensburger Hut Our hike starts in Zans, following a forest trail up to the Kreuzjoch. From there, we descend and continue across rocky scree fields to the Roa Scharte, the first major challenge of the tour. At the top, stunning views of the surrounding Dolomite peaks await. We then continue to the Regensburger Hut, where we spend the night in a cozy mountain setting. |
Day 2 | Across Pana Scharte back to Zans On the second day, we hike through meadows and forests up to the Pana Scharte. The climb is rewarded with a magnificent panorama of the Villnöss Geisler. The descent is partly secured with steel cables and leads down serpentine paths through scree. Afterwards, we follow the famous Adolf Munkel Trail to the picturesque Geisler Alm. Via the Glatsch Alm, we return to Zans, our starting point. |
