Sella Ronda – Ski Guiding
Experience the Legendary Dolomites Ski Circuit in a Relaxed Way with a Mountain Guide
The Sellaronda is one of the most famous and most impressive ski circuits in the entire Alps – a full-day ski adventure circling the imposing Sella Massif, set amidst the spectacular rock formations of the UNESCO Dolomites. The route connects four traditional Ladin valleys: Val Gardena, Alta Badia, Arabba, and Val di Fassa. Along the way you cross some of the Dolomites’ best-known mountain passes – the Gardena Pass, Sella Pass, Pordoi Pass, and Campolongo Pass – experiencing a constant change between wide panoramas, smooth pistes, and towering rock faces.
With a total distance of roughly 40 kilometers – around 26 kilometers of which are perfectly groomed slopes – the Sella Ronda can be skied clockwise or counter-clockwise. Both variants offer spectacular views and diverse terrain throughout the day.
Right from the start, the unique charm of this tour becomes evident: the warm morning light on the Dolomite walls, the crisp winter colors, and the sweeping mountain scenery that changes with every section. As we glide from valley to valley, new perspectives open up continuously, and numerous traditional mountain huts invite you to stop for a relaxing break where the authentic cuisine and local specialties guarantee real moments of pleasure.
Experiencing the Sellaronda together with a certified mountain and ski guide offers not only increased safety and local expertise: your guide takes care of the entire planning, knows the most beautiful viewpoints, suggests hidden hut stops, and ensures a smooth schedule throughout the day. This makes the Sella Massif ski circuit a carefree experience, allowing you to fully immerse yourself in the breathtaking landscape and the flow of each descent.
