Program:

Day 1:

Arrival in Turkey

Flight from Munich or Venice via Istanbul to Kayseri, followed by transfer to Ihlara. Continue by bus to the base of Mount Hasan (3,253 m).

Day 2:

Mount Hasan (3253m)

Ascent of the volcano Mount Hasan, then transfer to Demirkazik and overnight stay in the village.

Day 3-7:

Ski Tours in the Taurus Mountains and Central Anatolia

Depending on snow and weather conditions, several rewarding ski tours are planned:

  • Mount Embler (3,723 m)
  • Avciveli Pass (3,250 m)
  • Mount Erciyes (3,916 m) – the highest volcano in Central Anatolia
  • and other unnamed but impressive summits that have offered excellent ski touring terrain in past years.

Day 8:

Culture & Relaxation

Sightseeing tour including highlights such as Göreme and the Ihlara Valley, both part of the UNESCO World Heritage region of Cappadocia.

Day 9:

Return home

Difficulty
RequirementsSafe skiing technique in deep snow, use of crampons and ice axe. Stamina for long ascents, depending on the snow conditions, ski tours of up to 1800 metres are undertaken.
