Ski Mountaineering Trip to Kyrgystan

Ski Mountaineering Tour in the Thien Shan Mountains

With a traditional 4-day yurt camp and two different ski touring areas

Experience an unforgettable ski tour adventure in Kyrgyzstan, where untouched mountains, traditional nomadic hospitality, and breathtaking landscapes meet. This journey takes you to the Tien Shan Mountains, stretching over 2,000 km from Uzbekistan to western China, with peaks ranging from 3,000 m to the legendary 7,000 m giants Pik Pobeda and Khan Tengri.

The tour explores two prime ski tour regions: around Issyk-Kul Lake and the Karakolarea. Depending on the location, ski tours start from traditional yurts or cozy local accommodations, with ascents reaching nearly 4,000 m. Our trip is accompanied by a local team and a local guide, providing expertise, and insight into the region’s culture and terrain.

Famous ski tour peaks include Djety-Oguz Peak (3,640 m), Tiurgen Peak (3,928 m), and Jergalan Peak (3,718 m), with vertical gains up to 1,300 m. Whether seeking gentle, scenic ascents or challenging alpine climbs, the program offers something for every level. Kyrgyzstan captivates visitors with its majestic mountains and the warm hospitality of its people.
