Snowshoe Week in the Ahrntal Valley

Leisure Snowshoe Hiking Week in the Ahrntal Valley

Winter magic in South Tyrol – nature experiences and relaxing days in an alpine setting

Experience a guided snowshoe hiking week in the Ahrntal Valley in South Tyrol and discover the quiet winter landscapes of one of the most unspoiled valleys in the Alps. When snowshoe hiking in the Ahrntal, you can look forward to snow-covered forests, wide alpine pastures, and impressive mountain panoramas between the 3,000-meter peaks of the Zillertal Alps and the Durreck Group.

Under the expert guidance of an experienced mountain guide, the snowshoe tours lead through quiet side valleys, to traditional alpine huts, and across scenic high plateaus. With a maximum of around 600 meters of ascent per tour, the winter landscapes can be explored at a relaxed pace – ideal for pleasure hikers, beginners, and anyone looking to enjoy winter hiking in a calm and enjoyable atmosphere.

After the tours, you return to your accommodation, the cozy Hotel Mair. The family-run hotel in Kematen is an ideal base for snowshoe hiking throughout the valley. Warm South Tyrolean hospitality, comfortable rooms, and regional cuisine await you – the perfect end to an active winter day.
