Speikboden via ferrata

Family-Friendly Climbing Route in the Dolomites

Beginner-Friendly Via Ferrata with Suspension Bridge, Wire Rope Bridge and Panoramic Views of the Dolomites, Zillertal Alps and Ahrntal Valley

The Speikboden via ferrata on the northeast face is a beginner-friendly climbing route (B/C), ideal for beginners, families, and children from 8 years old, as well as anyone seeking their first via ferrata experience in the Dolomites – safely and comfortably guided by an experienced mountain guide from South Tyrol.

The approximately 500 meters of cable route traverse varied steep rock faces, a cable bridge, and a suspension bridge – exciting highlights that offer variety and a mild challenge. Thanks to the cable car access to the mountain station, the approach is short and convenient.

At the summit of Speikboden (2,517 m), you’ll enjoy a spectacular 360° panoramic view of the Dolomites, the Zillertal Alps, the Venediger Group, and the Ahrntal Valley.
