Via Ferrata in the Ziel Valley in Texel Group Nature Park
Experience a varied climbing adventure above Partschins with panoramic views of the Merano region
The Ziel Via Ferrata is located in the idyllic Ziel Valley above Partschins on the edge of the Texel Group Nature Park. This modern via ferrata is designed to blend harmoniously with the alpine landscape, featuring minimal artificial aids and diverse climbing sections ranging from easy to moderate difficulty.
The approach from the Texelbahn cable car station via the famous Merano High Mountain Trail leads through impressive alpine scenery with meadows, stone pines, and wide views over the Merano region. The actual climbing route is the highlight of the tour: Passing grazing goats and whistling marmots, climbers ascend along the rock faces toward Gingglegg, with the spectacular Zielbach crossing via a flying fox providing a thrilling experience.
At the exit, an impressive panorama opens up over the Ziel Valley, the surrounding peaks of the Texel Group, and the Merano region. The descent follows a marked hiking trail back to the Nasereit Hut and then continues via the Merano High Mountain Trail to the Texelbahn cable car.
Together with an experienced mountain guide from South Tyrol, you can safely navigate this via ferrata and fully enjoy the climbing, the surrounding nature, and breathtaking alpine scenery – an unforgettable adventure in the heart of the Ziel Valley awaits.
