Our base for this ski touring week in Northern Norway is the cozy Aa-Gård Lodge directly on the Lavangen Fjord. The stylish cabins are peacefully located by the water and provide an authentic northern experience. From here, numerous tour destinations are easily accessible within a short drive.

The ski tours around Lavangen are diverse and lead through light birch forests, wide snowy slopes, and scenic peaks directly above the fjords. Along the way, you’ll enjoy repeated spectacular views of Northern Norway’s coastal landscape. The variety of tour destinations offers both enjoyable ski tours and more challenging summit ascents, and can be flexibly adapted to weather and snow conditions.

After the tours, we return to our cozy fjord-side lodge. Here, a relaxing atmosphere awaits, including a soothing sauna with views of the water and the opportunity to end the day with a communal dinner featuring regional cuisine made from locally sourced products. With a bit of luck, the mesmerizing northern lights will even dance across the fjords in the evening.
